Message from Coach Bob McCormack Great players aren’t just born. They are made. Great players get great through many hours of hard work, a lot of practice and pure natural, athletic ability. At the Bob McCormack Basketball Camps and Shooting Camps, we help develop young players to be the best players they can be. Our camps are for boys and girls of all ages and ability levels. The Bob McCormack Basketball Camps and Shooting Camps offer a unique opportunity to refine fundamentals and learn to play the game at an advanced level. My team of camp counselors put special focus on teaching the basic skills and conducting intensive drills designed to bring your game to the next level.  Our camp counselors are players and coaches themselves, and they look forward to sharing their ideas and experiences with you. They will map out simple, yet effective, offensive and defensive strategies to make you a better all-around player and to learn to play the game smarter. This will make you a much better player and a much better leader on the floor. Any top coach will tell you that no matter what level or age group, fundamentals are key to the success of any team and/or player. Our camps break the complicated game of basketball into a simple formula that focuses on fundamental skills, repetition, and practice and game-scenario drills. It is extremely important that players to develop sound fundamental skills at a young age, as these skills will carry with a player throughout his or her development. Our staff will teach you ways to help you master some very basic, but very important, basketball skills and make you a better player. We look forward to seeing you at the camps as you take advantage of the opportunity to get to know the our camp staff and some of my top players. We are excited to share our coaching philosophy with you, and we look forward to sharing strong basketball ideas. Our goal is to make you a better basketball player in every aspect of the game. I personally work with our camps to pass along the knowledge I’ve gained over 25-plus years as a player, coach and fan of the game of basketball.
